Nothing Says “Vintage” Like a Thank You Card

A month or two ago I was strolling down Ossington when a glimmer of sequins on a beautifully decked-out mannequin winked at me from a doorway.

Helpless to resist that kind of flirtation, I was drawn into the newly opened Rescue Vintage.

I chatted briefly with Renee, the friendly and very stylish owner, while perusing her boutique’s small collection of carefully selected, often exquisite and always fun, upscale vintage and modern pieces, and after sighing and blowing a goodbye kiss to the sequined number, went on my way.

Two weeks later, I was pretty sure I had to have that dress. So I returned with a second opinion and picked it up. Again, Renee was friendly and extremely helpful (not to mention, impeccably turned out), even letting me stuff my sweaty feet into her own pumps to get a better idea of what the dress would look like.

Suffice it to say, between the beautiful clothing, and the top notch service, I was impressed.

And I was floored when a couple of weeks later, I received a handwritten Thank You card from Renee herself.

So thank you, Rescue Vintage. I very much dig your style.
